The first fully sustainable sneaker brand, Veja was founded in 2006 by French business partners Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion. On a mission to reinvent the global sneaker market with an ethically and environmentally conscious product, Veja sneakers are made using fair trade principles and organic and raw materials sourced specifically from the Seringueiro community in the Amazon Rainforest. Every Veja sneaker is then assembled in the same Rio Grande do Sul factory where the brand’s foundation of slow growth, ethical practices, and care to craft is on full display. Clean, minimalist design is topped by the brand’s iconic “V” logo, creating a classic, yet contemporary, version of the elevated sneaker. The V-10 and ESPLAR styles stand out as international favorites with their sleek, versatile aesthetic and comfortable wearability, while their performance options introduce an opportunity to integrate sustainable and ethical footwear into every element of life.
