Kiko Kostadinov is a Bulgarian-born, London-based designer. After graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2016 and being awarded the British Fashion Council’s NEWGEN prize, Kostadinov debuted his eponymous label in 2017 to critical acclaim, followed by a highly coveted sneaker collaboration with Asics and the appointment to Creative Director at the heritage outdoor brand, Mackintosh. One year later, and in partnership with twin sisters and fellow Central Saint Martins graduates Laura and Deanna Fanning, the label launched their first womenswear collection.
Inspired by the functionality of workwear and the technicality of construction, KIKO KOSTADINOV is an exploration of process and making known the elements of structure as a current conversation on transparency in art and design. Pieces are designed for “invisible purpose” and as foundations of a wardrobe curated for expression and practicality. Revealed seams, off-kilter silhouettes, utilitarian textiles, and unexpected color pairings all work in unison to create the singular vision of the label, while still offering functional pieces meant to endure your lifestyle.
