Born in Atlanta, Georgia, multi-disciplinary artist Reese Cooper moved to London’s Hammersmith neighborhood in 2009, where he began to develop an interest in streetwear through Tumblr. At only 15, Cooper interned for Craig Ford, owner of influential sales and marketing agency a number of names*, known for expanding the reach of brands like BAPE, Cav Empt and Billionaire Boys Club throughout the European market. He then worked on editorials with London store EJDER before becoming the face of adidas U.K. In 2016, Cooper launched his debut collection, “Spoiled Children,” inspired by the rich kids he grew up with who unintentionally encouraged his independent spirit; he followed with “Seneca Arts Club,” dedicated to the self-educated, and “Water Is More Precious Than Gold,” intended to support the citizens of Flint, Michigan impacted by the city’s water crisis. Now based out of Los Angeles, Cooper showed his first full collection, FW18’s “Lone Pine,” at Paris Fashion Week. All of Cooper’s clothing is made in L.A. at the Giannetti Factory, owned by architect Steve Giannetti and his wife, interior designer Brooke Giannetti, whose son, Charlie, photographed the “Lone Pine” lookbook.
