Nike women’s limited edition standard fit black and “University” red pinstriped leather low top retro basketball sneaker. Nike drops a Chicago exclusive Air Force 1 Jewel inspired by the Chicago Bulls’ iconic pinstriped jerseys worn by the team during their 95-96 and 96-97 championship seasons. Named after the plane of the President of the United States of America, the Nike Air Force 1 High debuted in 1982, with the low top sneaker releasing a year later. Designed by Bruce Kilgore, the Air Force 1 was not only the first Nike basketball sneaker to utilize Air cushioning, it was also one of the first to sport a cup sole. Although the sneaker was discontinued in 1984, it was soon rereleased in 1986, and has since become the best-selling and most iconic basketball sneaker on the planet.
