After shutting AMI down in 2002, Alexandre Mattiusi revived his Paris-based label in 2011 after spending time at Dior, Givenchy, and Marc Jacobs. Stemming from Mattiusi’s own feelings of being unable to find quality garments at accessible price points, he set out to restart AMI. Mattiusi has focused AMI on creating garments that give particular attention to fabrics, fit, wearability, and price.
